Editorial policy
Clever Home Journal aims to make home design easier to understand without turning preference into fact. We explain our reasoning, distinguish general information from individual choices and welcome readers who point out an error or missing context.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against suitable information before publication and write so that readers can tell an explanation from an opinion. Where a topic depends on a particular product, place or set of circumstances, we make that scope clear rather than presenting one answer as universal.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are made separately from commercial arrangements. Any sponsored or partner material is labelled clearly so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. We do not imply that a partner placement is an editorial recommendation.
Corrections
If you believe a published item contains an error, contact us with the article title and the detail in question. We review correction requests and, when a change is warranted, amend the text and make the correction clear to readers.
Images and illustrations
Images are chosen to support the subject and are not presented as proof of a product's performance or a particular design outcome. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where used, they are identified as illustrations rather than documentary photographs.
A home makes sense in the details
We look beyond room reveals to the choices behind them: how spaces are used, what objects contribute and why design details matter.
