What we welcome

We are interested in original, evergreen contributions that explain a design choice, compare options, explore an object's history or help readers notice a feature of domestic space. A strong piece has one central question, a clear reader benefit and a scope that can be handled without unsupported claims or specialist instructions.

What to include in a pitch

Use the Contact page to tell us the proposed title or subject, the main point you would make, why it suits Clever Home Journal and a brief note about your relevant experience or approach. Mention any sources, images or commercial connections that could affect the piece. Please do not send confidential information.

Editorial fit

We look for specific ideas that offer more than generic decorating advice or a product roundup. Contributions should be original, carefully worded and open to editing for clarity, accuracy and house style. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication.
